The difference between the political climate two years ago and today is shocking. In 2008, most Americans couldn’t wait for the Bush Presidency to end and for the transition to President Obama and the Democrats. Today the country is on the verge of terminating the “failed Democratic experiment”, and is slated to return control of Congress to the Republicans in November.
In my research, I discovered that many voters, who no longer support the Democrats, made their decision based on incorrect information, like believing the budget deficit has quadrupled since President Obama took office, and that the increase was due to the new programs the Democrats passed. Many voters don’t realize that the November 2010 elections are the most important ones in at least a decade in shaping the future direction of our country.
Some of the specific topics covered in the book are:
* The details of the legislation the Democrats passed over the last two years
* The real Republican agenda including parts that aren’t in print
* The truth about the budget deficit and how standard accounting practices distort the facts
* A new way of voting that ensures the candidates you choose will represent your interests after they are elected
* Why Republican wins in November will result in the deficit expanding over the next two years, and Democratic wins will result in the deficit contracting.
